Corral) and a raucous crew of misfits (Keenan Wynn, Howard Keel and Robert Walker Jr.) to pull off an impossible heist for half a million dollars in gold bullion. The War Wagon offers a rousing tale of Old West vengeance, courtesy of director Burt Kennedy (Support Your Local Sheriff), writer Clair Huffaker (The Comancheros), cinematographer William H. Clothier (The Alamo) and composer Dimitri Tiomkin (High Noon).
