The Sky Has Fallen delivers an intense blend of post-apocalyptic survival horror and creature-feature suspense as humanity faces near extinction. Within only a few hours, a devastating disease wipes out almost the entire population, leaving survivors scattered in isolated locations. Among them are Lance and Rachel, who soon discover that the plague is only the beginning as mysterious black figures emerge to collect the dead and conduct horrifying experiments upon their victims.

Determined to fight back rather than merely survive, Lance and Rachel set out to confront the leader of these terrifying creatures before the last remnants of humanity disappear forever. Mixing relentless tension with practical creature effects and independent horror ambition, the film presents a bleak yet action-driven vision of the end of civilization.

This special edition is loaded with extensive supplemental material chronicling the film's production and legacy. Included are a commentary featuring director Doug Roos and executive producer James Segars, the retrospective 20 Years Later: Reflecting on My First Feature, featurettes examining the influence of Asian cinema and 1980s genre films, pre-production, principal photography, post-production, recording the score, special effects and monster creation, mask making, prosthetic application, and the original theatrical trailer.

Released by Unearthed Films, this region-free Blu-ray presents the complete 78-minute feature in English while offering an in-depth archival look at the making of an ambitious independent horror production through its comprehensive collection of behind-the-scenes supplements.
