Elena, a "half" Japanese girl discovers she's also being watched by a monster that can only be seen through her phone and heard through her earphones.

The Invisible Half, the debut feature from writer-director Masaki Nishiyama, is a thoughtfully crafted J-horror film that blends tech-driven terror with social commentary. The story follows Elena (Lisa Siera), a half-Japanese, half-British teenager dealing with severe alienation and racist bullying after moving to Japan. She inherits a curse where a malevolent, bandaged entity stalks her.The Gimmick: The spirit can only be seen through the camera lens of her smartphone and heard via her earphones, creating a clever blend of modern isolation and supernatural dread.

DVD includes both English language version and also a native Japanese language version.
