Gone with the Wind (1939) is an epic historical romance film based on Margaret Mitchell's novel, starring Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara and Clark Gable as Rhett Butler, set during the American Civil War and Reconstruction era. Known for its grand scale, Technicolor cinematography, and iconic performances, it was a massive commercial success, winning eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and making Hattie McDaniel the first African American to win an Oscar. The film is celebrated as a cinematic landmark but is also controversial for its romanticized and inaccurate portrayal of slavery and the "Lost Cause" narrative. 

Warner Bros. has announced a Gone With the Wind Collector’s Edition, bringing the legendary classic to 4K Blu-ray in a premium collector’s release. Alongside the Steelbook, the edition will include a selection of exclusive physical collectibles, making it an appealing release for fans of classic cinema.
