From master filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar, this rich, metatextual melodrama follows a filmmaker who draws desperate inspiration from his closest relationships to break his writer's block.

Weaving parallel stories across different time periods, with eclectic characters inhabiting Almodóvar's signature lush interiors and exteriors, this honest piece of autofiction explores how life and art are inseparably linked.
