Elias Merhige’s Begotten fascinated and shocked those who witnessed it. Never before had the screen depicted such a primal, existential drama, and it became one of the must-see films of the 1990s. The intervening decades have not diminished the power of this unique motion picture experience. This new 4K restoration reveals the full photographic body of Begotten, preserving its otherworldly organic texture and retaining its visceral impact, a previously unknown life form captured in cinematic amber.

Product Extras :

New 4K UHD Restoration with new 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 Surround Sound Mixes Overseen by Filmmaker E.
